This installment of the Friday the 13th franchise follows another group of vacationers who pick the wrong remote lake house. As tensions, pranks, and questionable life choices pile up, Jason Voorhees arrives to enforce a very strict no-party policy, turning the weekend into a methodical exercise in slasher logistics. Jason methodically restores order with the calm efficiency of someone very committed to a routine. The film is most notable for handing him the hockey mask and leaning into 3D spectacle, treating plot as a loose suggestion between set pieces.
